HPDD-ACR

Can complex industrial waste streams, like black liquor or distillery spent wash, be cracked without costly high-pressure pumps or vulnerable moving parts?

That is precisely what the Acoustic Cavitation Reactor (ACR) achieves when coupled with our Hydro Puls Direct-Drive (HPDD) platform.

How it works:
1. Supersonic Jet: High-pressure nitrogen from the HPDD expands through a De Laval nozzle to supersonic velocities.

2. Passive Suction: The extreme velocity drops local static pressure below atmospheric (Bernoulli effect), passively drawing in heavy, abrasive slurries. No high-pressure slurry pumps or packing seals required.

3. Acoustic Cavitation: Violent shockwaves from the supersonic gas-liquid collision trigger micro-bubbles that implode in nanoseconds. These ultrasonic micro-jets crack complex lignin and organic chains directly into hydrogen and syngas at moderate bulk temperatures.

4. Instant Separation: The stream discharges straight into a Vertical Convective Decoupler (VCD), where clean gases rise and valuable mineral salts settle out for chemical recovery.

Zero moving parts in the slurry, zero high-pressure pump losses, and radical process intensification.
