63% thermal system efficiency. Literally 0.0% carbon emissions. Zero grid dependence.
In the current debate around industrial decarbonization and grid congestion, a persistent dogma dominates: if you move away from fossil gas, you are supposedly forced into massive electrical grid interconnections, multi-megawatt transformers, and 5- to 7-year connection queues.
With the Hydro Puls Direct-Drive (HPDD) platform, we bypass that grid bottleneck entirely behind the meter:
1. Literally Zero Carbon Emissions (0.0% CO2, CO, and CH4):
HPDD operates exclusively on pure ammonia (NH3) as its molecular energy vector. The core reaction chemistry contains zero carbon and zero sulfur atoms. Reaction products consist strictly of pure nitrogen (N2) and water vapor (H2O). No soot, zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and intrinsically minimized NOx formation thanks to high-pressure closed kinetics where unreacted NH3 acts as an in-situ reducing agent.
2. 63% System Efficiency via Direct Molecular Conversion:
Traditional power chains lose the majority of their primary exergy through intermediate steps: combustion → steam → turbine → alternator → AC grid → transformer → electric motor → shaft work.
HPDD eliminates this multi-stage conversion penalty. Through direct high-pressure thermo-kinetic expansion, it converts the chemical enthalpy of ammonia directly into:
• +600 bar hydrostatic power (driving heavy industrial pumps and deagglomeration reactors directly).
• Synchronous 230°C high-grade enthalpy for thermal separation, drying, or deep absorption chilling.
• Integrated cryogenic cooling generated in-situ via isentropic and Joule-Thomson gas expansion.
3. True Layer 0 Autarky for Critical Infrastructure:
Industrial chemical plants, remote mining, and high-density computing campuses cannot wait years for utility grid upgrades. By converting liquid ammonia, an established, globally traded energy carrier, directly on site, HPDD provides firm, 24/7, weather-independent base power and utilities without drawing a single kilowatt-hour from the public grid.
Real process intensification doesn't come from piling on more electrical conversion layers; it comes from returning to the first-principles physics of direct molecular work.
