​In the sugar industry, spanning both beet and cane processing, energy consumption, thermal management, and water dependency remain massive operational challenges. Traditional sugar refining is caught between high fossil-fuel steam demands, massive cooling water requirements, and the risk of product degradation during crystallization and fine-milling.
